Our Story
Skilo’s Cuzina was built on a simple belief: dogs deserve better than processed food poured from a bag.
Like most dog owners, we trusted the pet food industry for years. But the more we looked at ingredient labels, the more something didn’t sit right. The food didn’t resemble real meals, and the ingredients looked more like a chemistry experiment than something meant to nourish a living animal.
So we started cooking.
What began as home-cooked meals for our dog Evie quickly turned into something bigger. We saw firsthand what real food could do — more energy, better digestion, healthier coats, and dogs that were genuinely excited about their meals again.
Friends started asking for it. Their dogs loved it too.
That’s how Skilo’s Cuzina was born — built on the idea that dogs should eat food made with the same care and quality we expect for ourselves.

BAAM Animal Foundation Mission
Feeding dogs better is where we start — but it’s not where we stop.
Skilo’s Cuzina was created with a bigger long-term goal in mind: to help fund and support animal rescue efforts through a future nonprofit initiative, the BAAM Animal Foundation.
BAAM is currently in development, with a planned focus on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals that are often overlooked — the ones that need the most help and the longest care.
As Skilo’s Cuzina grows, a portion of its success will be used to help bring that mission to life.
No donations are being collected for BAAM at this time — the focus right now is building a strong, sustainable foundation through Skilo’s Cuzina first.
